It all began with a single message, a message that would set the course for an unexpected journey. Four hours before the looming deadline in the midst of August, a friend sent me a link to an application. As I perused the application's contents, I discovered they would be delving into project management, UI/UX design, and design thinking. But there was a twist—the theme was religion and ancient scriptures.

This revelation led to a moment of deep contemplation. I questioned my interest in delving into such a controversial topic as religion, when all I truly desired was to hone my skills. Seeking counsel from friends yielded no definitive answers. So, with a sense of daring, I decided to seize the opportunity and submit my application, little knowing what lay ahead.

As days passed and the day of the first workshop approached, anxiety coursed through me. That morning, I rose early, making my way to the station to catch public transport. Those minutes of waiting for the bus felt like an eternity. I couldn't help but think, "I'm heading to an unfamiliar place, in a university I know little about, to attend a workshop alongside strangers, all with no clear understanding of the workshop's content." It was the fear of the unknown that weighed on me.

Upon arriving, I began to survey the unfamiliar university surroundings and engaged in tentative conversations with fellow participants, trying to decipher the essence of the boot camp. The first session focused on machine learning, introducing me to its fundamentals and paving the way for new friendships with both participants and mentors.

The following day revolved around design thinking, providing a captivating insight into the art of nurturing innovation. Previously, I had regarded innovation as a mysterious, creative process, but now I understood it followed a structured path that anyone could master for more effective results.

Monday held a special place in my heart. It unfolded two remarkable events—the first being a window of opportunity with a session on Agile project management, a vital skill I needed for my startup. The second was the introduction to a remarkable mentor, a person of exceptional kindness and an unwavering dedication to helping students achieve their dreams without expecting anything in return. She extended the offer of a customized project management workshop tailored to the needs of my startup, free of charge.

The last two days of the workshop delved into the world of UI/UX design, guiding us through the intricate process of understanding our customers, defining their needs, and crafting a user experience before translating it into a user interface. We also gained proficiency in using Figma, seeking mentor feedback on our prototypes and landing page designs.

With the workshops now concluded, I find myself collaborating with my team to develop a prototype for our project, fueled by the determination to emerge victorious in the upcoming competition. The journey that started with uncertainty has turned into an exhilarating adventure of learning, growth, and unexpected opportunities.
